First things first.
According to Scott Kelley, before one does anything in Altamont Orlando, this includes sleeping and undressing, you must get a journal, and you must show your face. It's an essential part of existence here, and since I've always been pretty good about listening to Scott, I'm doing as I'm told.
I'm Amber Jordin and I hail from Dallas, Texas. My motto in life has always been something to the effect of "faking it until you make it" followed by a strong "if at first you don't succeed, try again". Which is how I've ended up here, I guess. I dropped out of Texas A&M after a year, much to my parents dismay, to attend Ogle School of Hair and Nails. My parents disapproved so much that they cut me off. This of course, didn't deter me, and after another year and a half, I walked out of there with a degree in cosmetology and a $15,000 debt. I had a ob, but it didn't really work out, and I was pretty much on the brink of living in my Beemer. So, instead of staying there and wallowing in my lack of serious funds, Scottie, is saving me and has invited me here. It has to be a lot easier to make a name for yourself away from your parents influence.
First things first. Or maybe this is second things second. I'll be looking for a job come Monday morning. Oh wait, that might be second b. Second a. is look for another cosmetology school in Florida. I need to get certified in Florida. The state boards can be such a bitch. Really.
And that's my life in a nutshell. Always looking for the next adventure. I hope Orlando gives me a run for mynon existent money. Scott, where's the closest Carl's Jr? I'm starving.
